From Sign-Up to First Message
The clicking takes 30-45 minutes once your data is ready. Including time for parents to install the app and get going, expect 2-3 days end-to-end.
Sign Up Your School (3 minutes)
Visit our enrollment page. Fill in your school details and school admin information. Your free trial starts immediately — no credit card required.
Set Your Password
You'll receive an email with a link to set your password. Click it, create a password, and you're in.
Log In to the School Portal
Access your school's dashboard. You're the School Admin now — full control over the school setup.
Download the Master Excel Template
One Excel file holds your entire school: classes, sections, subjects, teachers, students, and parent details. We provide the template.
Fill In Your Data
This is the part that takes real time — usually a few hours, depending on whether you already have student data in some form. Once the Excel is ready, the rest is fast.
Upload and Validate (5 minutes)
Upload the file. ParentSync validates, previews errors, and imports everything. Classes, students, parents, teachers — all created.
Map Subjects and Assign Teachers (10 minutes)
Map which subjects are taught in which sections. Assign teachers to their classes. ParentSync auto-creates communication groups for every class.
Launch to Parents
One click sends invites to every parent. They get an SMS with a link, install the app from Play Store or App Store, set a 4-digit PIN, and they're in. Usually within 1-2 days, most parents are on the app.
Send Your First Announcement
Compose a message — or pick a template like Holiday Notice or Homework. Send to whoever needs it. Watch the read receipts come in within minutes.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
After setup, this is what your school actually does with ParentSync, day to day.
Sends a fee reminder to all parents
Pick the Fee Reminder template, fill in amount + due date, send to "All Parents". Check who read it 2 hours later. Resend to non-readers in one click.
Sends homework to Class 5A
Pick the Homework template. Fill subject, due date, instructions. Send to "Class 5A Parents". Done in 30 seconds.
Sends progress reports for the whole class
Upload one Excel with marks for every student. ParentSync sends each parent only their own child's marks, total, and percentage. No parent ever sees another child's report.
Announces Annual Day
Pick the Event Notice template. Fill date, venue, dress code, action required. Send to "All Parents". Pin so it stays at the top of every inbox.
Has a private chat with a parent
Open a 1:1 chat from the parent list. Type and send. Parent's reply comes back in the app — teacher's personal mobile number is never exposed.
Reads a message in Telugu
Opens ParentSync, sees a new message from the school. Taps "Translate" — message switches to Telugu. Reads, acknowledges, done.
Sees messages for both their children
One feed shows messages for both kids, tagged by child. Switch between children with one tap. No need for multiple apps or accounts.
You're Not Alone
Every school is assigned a support representative who can help with onboarding. Premium plans get a dedicated rep who can log into your portal (read-only) to assist with setup issues directly.
